01 Jul 2012 – World-wide: Sam Bacile, possibly a pseudonym, placed a blasphemous anti-Muslim film regarding the Prophet Mohammed on you-tube. The result was a worldwide condemnation and riots within numerous Muslim countries.
04 Jul – United States: The US celebrates Independence Day.
07 Jul 2005 – United Kingdom: Three near simultaneous bombs on London transportation system followed by another bombing less than an hour later kill more than 50; injure more than 700; al-Qaeda claimed responsibility.
10 Jul 2006 – Russia: Shamil Salmanovich Basayev (Russian) was the leader of the Chechen insurgency and thought to be behind the Beslan school Hostage crisis (01 Sep 04) died in an explosion near the border of North Ossetia, Russia.
12 Jul 2006 – Israel/Lebanon: Second Israel/Lebanon war started.
17 Jul 2015 – Ramadan finishes. 361 COMMENT: With the threat from ISIS/L during this period there may well be a spectacular either on the American 4 July Independence Day or the end of Ramadan. The end of Ramadan may well be aimed at stirring racial tensions world wide by attacking a well known religious shrine. COMMENT ENDS
