09 Nov 2008 – Indonesia: The three Islamic militants who were accused of the Bali bombings on the 12 Oct 02 were executed by firing squad in the Indonesian prison of Nusakambangan. The three were Imam Samudra, brothers Amrozi Nurhasyim and Ali Ghufron.
09 Nov 2005 – Jordan: Three near-simultaneous bomb attacks against Western hotels in Amman kill more than 50 and injure 110; al-Qaeda in Iraq claims responsibility.
