11 Mar 12 – France: Mohammed Merah a lone wolf killed seven people in the Midi-Pyrenees region of France. In three gun incident’s he targeted French soldiers and Jewish civilians. The soldiers were attacked for their involvement in the war in Afghanistan and he also had anti-Semitic motivations.
